Patrick's Math Tasks for kids 1.11

Get better in school and learn numbers in the English language. Train math like playing a game. Designed for children in the 2nd grade of elementary school.

The application is 100% ad-free and collects absolutely no personal data of your child.

Math tasks included to practice the multiplication table (1x1), addition, subtraction, doubling, and halving. For an extra challenge, there are puzzles to solve! Identify the missing mathematical sign or tackle combined tasks.

Entering solutions is designed to be user-friendly for elementary school students. The child can easily discern between tens and ones figures. Each entered number is also verbally displayed (e.g., 15=fifteen) in English. This aids in the immediate identification if tens and ones were intermingled.

The app provides direct feedback on whether a task was solved correctly. In case of an incorrect answer, the correct solution is shown. By tapping on the question mark symbol, the correct answer can also be revealed. Tasks that were answered incorrectly are presented again once all tasks have been attempted, allowing for corrections until all answers are accurate. Upon successfully completing a task group, the child is rewarded with a star.

The 1x1 tasks are grouped by number (1s, 2s, 3s, etc.), while addition and subtraction can be practiced within different number ranges (up to 10, up to 20, up to 100). You have the flexibility to choose whether tasks should be within a 10 range and with or without regrouping.

The app doesn't aim to teach math but rather serves as a tool to practice applying learned concepts. All tasks are generated using random numbers. Your child can revisit completed task sets and will consistently encounter new exercises. If you wish to reset all earned stars and begin anew, there's an option provided in the menu.

These tasks are tailored for second-grade elementary students. As educational programs vary, it's possible that some tasks may be unfamiliar to your child while others might already be familiar or might be introduced later in the curriculum. The app does not cover all math topics taught in the second grade nor guarantees that all included tasks align with the grade level standards. If uncertain, consult with your child or their math teacher regarding which tasks are suitable.

Different terminology may be used to describe tasks within the app. If you are accustomed to alternative descriptions, keep in mind that tasks are always sequenced from easier to more challenging.

The app remains entirely free of advertisements. Many tasks can be accessed at no cost. For full access to all tasks permanently, a small one-time fee can unlock this feature.
